The design of the kit is traditional, without any extravagant extra elements and or lavish sponsorship markings. The ever-present yellow and blue of Boca covers the kit, with a large yellow sash wrapped around the middle, to ensure the yellow and blue blend. The sash is central as opposed to diagonal, so as to not draw attention away from the main commemorative detail of the kit. The three golden stars, neatly fitted between the Adidas logo and club badge. Similar to Hollywood’s walk of fame, each star has its own meaning and significance, with each star referring to one of the three occasions Boca won the historic Club World Cup. Beneath the stars is a simple Japanese transcription, which translates to “Three Time World Champion”.
